Main tasks of this project were the surveying of all imovable properties in the region of Mitrovica and to create of an application for data collection and data management.

For this project, Geo&Land’s task were creation and promotion of a register for farmers containing all necessary information about their agricultural land and cultivation. This information was to be stored, managed and presented through a modern system based on WEB –GIS. Our company’s role was in generating a database for farmers, based on which we could obtain information. This information, ultimately, will help the Ministry to understand better the causes and the effects of different issues that might arise with farmers. In addition, this is a tool that Ministry could use to also offer faster and better solutions.
Municipality of Peja is among the first municipalities in Kosovo which has initiated the realisation of the project for creating a GIS system. Such a system was realized by Geo&Land with high profesionalism and dedication. The system contant a database with geo spatial data and textual data, presented at the same time together. Data are for all departements in Municipality of Peja. Through this sistem such data can be viewing and editing from municipal officials.
In consortium with Consult Engineering, Geo&Land is currently working in the “Support to Implementation of the Forest Policy and Strategy in Kosovo” with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Throughout this project, Geo&Land will perform different tasks to implement an intensified inventory of forest plantation, in which potential areas for afforestation and reforestation will be identified. In addition, Geo & Land will also work on evaluating the success of former experiences with forest plantations in Kosovo.
